On January 12th, the 9th Annual Wines of Chile Awards was held, with 17 trophies awarded to the country’s best wineries. For the third year in a row, a Syrah (Viña Tamaya Winemaker’s Selection 2010 Syrah) took the Best in Show honor. The trophies represented all regions and many grape varieties from Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc to Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan.
