The NYS Liquor Authority held a Full Board Meeting earlier this week. They were scheduled to discuss a Draft Advisory, which was put on hold until the next meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 24th.
The Advisory serves as a reminder to the industry that when an importer brings product to New York State for tastings, that product cannot be sold to retailers without obtaining a wholesaler’s license.
If you have any comments on the Advisory, please forward them to Metro by replying to this email. We will send out a link to the Board Meeting on the 24th where this will be discussed and a final Advisory will be issued.
