Alain Barbet Named Chevalier by Ordre National du Mérite

On April 11th, Alain Barbet, President of Palm Bay Spirits, was awarded the title of Chevalier by the Ordre National du Mérite, an honorary award bestowed by President of the French Republic acknowledging distinguished achievements and meritorious service. It was first established by President Charles de Gaulle in 1963. The list of past recipients includes actor Gerard Depardieu, wine critics Robert Parker and Michael Broadbent and chef Jean-Luc Boulay.
