The New Jersey Licensed Beverage Association recently held its Annual Wellhofer/Wilinski Scholarship Picnic at The Oak Tree Lodge in Wall Township. In attendance were members of the ABC as well as representatives of every tier in the industry. The money raised from the event helped finance two $10,000 scholarships for two individuals whose families are members of the NJLBA. The scholarships were awarded to Joseph Bossone, grandson of Dominic Bossone, past president of the NJLBA; and Demetris Rotsides, son of Zacharia Rotsides, owner of Garden State Diner in Wrightstown. Also awarded was The Harry Slone Memorial Scholarship to Troy Kurilew, son of Walter and Gwenn Kurilew, owners of KC’s Korner in South Plainfield.
