IVBAM, the Madeira Institute recently hosted a series of events in New York on June 18th and 19th. On Monday, George Mendes, chef/owner of Aldea restaurant paired seven courses with Madeira wines at The Study in Astor Center. This was followed by a trade tasting featuring six producers. The following day, International Culinary Center students enjoyed an educational Madeira seminar.
