The holiday season is the perfect time to get wrapped up in giving to others – and Kahlúa is doing just that. Through a contribution to One Warm Coat™, a charitable organization that helps support coat drives across the U.S., Kahlúa is lifting spirits with its “Share the Warmth” campaign.
Beginning October 1, each person who visits facebook.com/kahlua and clicks the “Share the Warmth” button will trigger a $1 donation from Kahlúa to One Warm Coat, with a maximum goal of up to $100,000. Funds will be used by One Warm Coat to help support their efforts in the promotion of local coat drives and in giving back to communities across the country. Other ways to trigger a donation include: clicking a button on the Kahlúa Facebook page to “toast friends” and invite them to participate in the “Share the Warmth” initiative while getting access to delicious Kahlúa cocktail recipes; or scanning a QR code on point of sale materials at retailers where Kahlúa is sold, which will also drive to Facebook.
“The holiday season is a time to enjoy warmth and spark meaningful connections,” said Anna Battiloro, Senior Brand Manager, Kahlúa. “Every person who clicks the ‘Share the Warmth’ button helps Kahlúa support One Warm Coat and give back to local communities.”
Also heralding the holiday season is the newly-released Kahlúa Gingerbread. The latest entry to Kahlúa’s limited-edition holiday line, Kahlúa Gingerbread joins Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha in making the season an indulgent gift for the senses.
Kahlúa Gingerbread features notes of gingerbread, nutmeg and subtle cinnamon and clove, blended with the classic taste of 100% Arabica coffee and sugarcane rum.
The returning limited-edition Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha boasts a luxurious blend of cool peppermint and dark chocolate that complements the rich flavors of Kahlúa. The holiday offerings are available nationwide while supplies last at a suggested retail price of $17.99.
Kahlúa Gingerbread and Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha can both be served on the rocks or in festive holiday-inspired cocktails.
