The New Jersey Restaurant Association held their annual 2013 Restaurant Operators Conference (ROC) on April 22nd at the Pines Manor in Edison. This was the first year that the conference was open to all licensees, members and non-members. Attendees were able to visit with several NJ wholesalers and watch culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs David Burke and James Laird. Also, Mauro Castano of TLC’s Cake Boss & Carlo’s Bake Shop led a cake decorating demonstration, and the 2013 Mixologist of the Year Competition was sponsored by RumChata.
