The worldwide phenomenon known as Dîner en Blanc celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, and on September 18th throngs of New Yorkers gathered—via word of mouth only—to dine in Bryant Park. Dressed all in white, they brought their own tables, chairs, food… and many brought wine. Meanwhile, Bordeaux was on hand, with Pearl and Ash owner-sommelier Patrick Cappiello pouring two specially selected Bordeaux (Blanc, mais oui) for attendees and press.
