Season’s Menu: Holidays 2013

TUNE ELDERFLOWER MARTINI

4 parts Absolut Tune
½ part elderflower liqueur
Lemon twist, for garnish

Stir elderflower liqueur with ice in a mixing glass and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top up with Absolut Tune and garnish with a twist of lemon.

SWEET GINGER PEAR

1 oz. Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. pear vodka
Optional: splash
of vanilla vodka

Build ingredients in a mixing glass, shake and strain into a martini glass.

HOLIDAY HOPPER

2 oz. Vikingfjord Apple Vodka
¾ oz. EO Pomegranate
Grenadine
¾ oz. lime juice
1 bar spoon
cinnamon sugar

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake with ice and strain into a cinnamon sugar-rimmed cocktail glass.

SAKÉ CIDER

2 oz. Ty Ku Saké Silver
1½ oz. apple cider
1 oz. apple liqueur
Splash of grenadine

Mix ingredients together with ice in shaker. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

NOT YOUR MAMA’S NOG

1 part Old New England Original Egg Nog
1 part ginger brandy
1 part spiced rum

Shake ingredients and strain into a chilled short glass. Sprinkle with cinnamon and as a festive option, add a cinnamon stick.

THE SNOW GLOBE

2 oz. Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey
½ oz. citrus vodka
½ oz. lemon juice
2 oz. cranberry juice

Add ice to rocks glass and top with the fresh lemon juice, Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey, citrus vodka and cranberry juice. Stir until chilled.

ARTA COSMARITA

1 oz. Arta Silver Tequila
3 oz. cranberry juice
½ oz. triple sec
½ oz. lime juice

Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or, for the holidays, a candy cane.
