BELVEDERE VODKA LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT(CLUB)

Via LED technology and laser-cut glass, Belvedere Silver Saber is literally lighting up the night. Following the path blazed by Belvedere Night Saber, the latest—and more luminous—evolution can grab attention from across a dark room, which, of course, is why it’s tailored for clubs with bottle-service menus. The bottle is engineered to illuminate for eight hours and is also waterproof, so ice buckets are fine. Already turning heads in Miami, Las Vegas and NYC; available nationally in February.

SOREL LIQUEUR: VERSATILE & EXOTIC IN COCKTAILS

A Valentine’s Day cocktail’s first duty is to be red. Helps to be exotic and delish, too. All three of those attributes are found in Sorel Liqueur. A variationed on a Carribean recipe, Sorel is based on Moroccan hibiscus, plus clove, cassia, nutmeg, ginger, cane sugar and organic grain alcohol. Bartenders can stay busy well beyond V-Day with Sorel, thanks to its unusual balance of sweet, spicy, fruity, floral and zesty. Works ice cold or hot, straight or mixed (try the Ariana: top 3 oz. Zardetto Prosecco with 2 oz. Sorel). Distilled in Red Hook Brooklyn; available in 13 states (with Winebow in NY NJ CT IL PA DC). ABV 15%; SRP $29.

AGING NOT REQUIRED: GEORGE DICKEL ADDS WHITE CORN WHISKY TO PORTFOLIO

Small but strong, the white whisky category has tripled in size over the last two years. George Dickel’s entry in the arena, launched in January, is essentially the unaged backbone of Dickel Tennessee whiskies No. 8, No. 12 and Barrel Select. The distillery’s signature “chill charcoal mellowing” process gives the raw, 91-proof spirit a soft, smooth finish. Ma ster Distiller John Lunn recommends enjoying George Dickel White No. 1 Corn Whisky neat or on the rocks, but it also mixes well in classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned. SRP $21.99.

RUMCHATA INJECTS NOSTALGIC FUN INTO SHOOTERS

Alchemy at the bar can have serendipitous origins. RumChata’s exclusive line of branded mini cereal bowl shot glasses grew out of pure grassroots affection for the red-hot rum cream as fans enjoyed comparing the taste of RumChata (SRP $19.99, 13.5% ABV) to the milk at the bottom of the bowl. Stoking the creative flames, RumChata has developed a set of recipes and made logo shooters available as a promotion to bars.
