Gratifying support, promising scholarships.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this year’s Wellhofer/Wilinski Scholarship Picnic on June 25th at the Oak Tree Lodge in Wall Township. A great time was had by all, with proceeds raised to support future scholarships.
Special thanks to our picnic sponsors—Fedway Associates, Ritchie and Page Distributors, Shore Point Distributors, Campari America, Tito’s Vodka, Grey Goose Vodka, Bacardi and Sea Breeze—for their contributions and for making the picnic the great success it was.
We also want to thank Allied Beverage Group, R&R Marketing, Gallo Wines, Opici Family Distributing and High Grade Beverage and for their generous contributions to the Scholarship Fund as well.
The NJLBA Board of Directors would like to say a special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to work at the picnic this year. Your support is greatly appreciated. The picnic would not be the great success it is each year without the help of our volunteers, friends and family.
The winners of the 2014 Scholarship are Timothy Flynn and James J. Bennett Jr.
Timothy Flynn will be attending Rutgers University. He is the grandson of Ray Flynn, owner of the Keg & Cork Pub in Old Bridge, and a member of the NJLBA for over 30 years.
James J. Bennett Jr. will be attending York College. He is the son of James J. Bennett Sr., owner of La Costa and Lobster Loft in Sea Isle City and currently the President of the NJLBA, as well as a member of the NJLBA for over 25 years.
The association is honored to be able to offer scholarships to these two deserving individuals.
