For the 12th year, Brown-Forman sponsored the Brown-Forman Retailer of the Year Awards, presented at the 2014 American Beverage Licensees Conference in Washington, D.C. Eligible men and women are nominated by their local state affiliate associations.
ABL President Harry Klock and Marc Sattherthwaite, VP & Director of Sales Operations for North America at Brown-Forman recognized 21 retailers for outstanding success and dedication to the industry. Among the honorees from across the country, three local stores were recognized:
Colvin Wine Merchants, Albany New York

James, who just turned 90, still works at the store, where both men are now joined by Stefan’s elder son Alex. Colvin Wine Merchants proudly offers a wide selection of New York State wines, local craft spirits and is adding more organic wine selections.
