‘Red Bank FLAVOUR’ Festival Includes 1st Annual Red Bank Cocktail Week

The first annual Red Bank Cocktail Week took place August 10th–17th, celebrating local bartenders, venues and products. Events included a kick-off party sponsored by Leaf Vodka at Upstairs by Red; a Bartender Mix-Off, benefitting Lunch Break, sponsored by Laird’s Applejack at Taste; and a Tito’s Handmade Vodka infusion class at Pazzo.

Winning Recipes from The Bartender Mix-Off

Katelyn Wisniewski of Taste, winner of Judges’ Choice:

Cherry Amore
2 ½  oz. Lairds Applejack
½  oz. Fernet Branca
½ oz. Fresh squeezed lemon juice
¾ oz. cherry/vanilla/wine syrup**
1 egg white
Topped with drops of angostura bitters
**Cherry/Vanilla/Wine syrup
3 parts Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz
1 part granulated sugar
1 whole vanilla bean
6-10 organic sweet cherries

Applejack Julep
Mint leaves
Peach syrup
1 ½ oz Lairds Applejack

Muddle mint, peaches, peach syrup and apples.. Pack with ice, pour 1 ½ oz. applejack shake and top with Sprite
