Bulleit Ups Tailgaiting Game With ‘Woody’

Atlantic Wines & Spirits and Bulleit Bourbon Showcase Bulleit Frontier Whiskey ‘Woody’

In September, Diageo and Atlantic Wines & Spirits, a division of Empire Merchants LLC, activated the Bulleit “Woody,” a custom promotional vehicle, with a variety of tastings and other events across Metro New York. The long weekend kicked off on Thursday with a sampling event at Empire Merchants for Diageo and Atlantic W&S (AWS) employees. “All of us enjoyed a Bulleit signature cocktail and some great BBQ for lunch,” said David Schrader, AWS/Diageo GM marketing manager.

Friday, the Bulleit Woody made its way to Bottles and Cases in Huntington. Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton from WFAN made an appearance, discussing Bulleit with consumers. Diageo and Mark Herman also made generous contributions to Craig Carton’s charity, Tic Top Stop, which helps children with Tourette’s Syndrome and Chronic Tic Disorder.

That evening at The Strand, more than 100 people were sampled on Bulleit Bourbon and Bulleit Rye cocktails, such as the Bulleit Sweet Tea. At the New York Giants home opener, the Bulleit Woody was on hand for a tailgate party, including a pig roast hosted by Craig Carton.

Crafted by Virginia-based bespoke leather goods manufacturer Moore and Giles and designed by interior designer Brad Ford, the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody is a party trailer like no other. Woody has wood finishings made from reclaimed Bulleit Bourbon casks and leather details by Moore and Giles. There’s a deluxe entertainment system with a flatscreen TV and Blu-Ray player.
