Training, networking & tasting on tap.
Open to all members of the Alcoholic Beverage Industry, this year’s convention promises to be packed with new information and tools to assist you with your on-premise retail license.
Highlights of the convention will include Techniques of Alcoholic Management Training (TAMS) and ServSafe Training which is mandatory for all “Risk type 3 food establishments.” We will also be having our ABC Bootcamp class, presented by an experienced alcoholic beverage control attorney and a retired member of law enforcement. This comprehensive class will educate the licensee, manager or bartenders navigate the strict and complex rules and regulations that govern the business of operating a liquor license. You will learn how to avoid violations and what to do if you receive one. This class is for anyone who holds a liquor license.
Our Legislative Agent, Jeffrey Warsh Esq., will update you on current legislative issues, while Division of ABC Director Michael Halfacre and his staff will offer a seminar on ABC matters. In addition, we have a special presentation from the Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey, who will offer an in-depth discussion on how licensees can ensure a safe and drug-fee establishment for their patrons.
One of the highlight of this year’s convention will be a Vodka Tasting scheduled for the afternoon of November 19th which will offer a variety of vodkas from various suppliers served On the Deck at the Golden Nugget.
Closing dinner speakers will include Senator Jeff Van Drew, Assemblyman David Rible, as well as other members of the Legislature.
As you know, conventions are an excellent opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with fellow licensees and old friends. I encourage you to take this opportunity to take this time to get away before the hectic holiday season and join us in Atlantic City to meet with legislative leaders, members of the NJLBA and ABC, and industry leaders. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 609-394-6730 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing everyone in November.
