To salute the 100th anniversary of the first bottling of Freixenet, the Ferrer family created Casa Sala Brut Nature Gran Reserva, an exquisite vintage (2006) sparkling wine completely handcrafted using the original gravity-flow methods of a century ago. The wine enjoyed its U.S. debut at Toro, accompanied by tapas and presented by Freixenet Group CEO Pedro Ferrer. Half and half Xarel-lo and Parellada, the wine spent 50 full months on the lees under a cork stopper.
