SHAW-ROSS INTERNATIONAL JOINS SOUTHERN WINE & SPIRITS IN HONORING THEIR NEW YORK SALES FORCE
Honoring one of the greatest Chilean wine brand success stories in recent years, Shaw-Ross International and Southern Wine & Spirits of New York (SWSNY) joined up Thursday, March 19th at the The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park for The Harvey Chaplin Epica Society Awards dinner. The event celebrated the 2014 sales achievements, in both Metro & Upstate NY, on behalf of the brand Epica, a progressive wine supplied by Viña San Pedro, Chile and imported by Shaw-Ross International.
The awards were presented by Harvey and Wayne Chaplin in two parts: the State award, to SWSNY’s Larry Goodrich and Matt Munn; and personal achievement awards to those in attendance. Supporting speeches were made by Mel Dick, Larry Goodrich and Matt Munn of SWSNY; Carlos Lopez, Global Sales Director for Viña San Pedro; and Bruce Hunter, Managing Director of Shaw-Ross International. Epica, a Chilean brand developed through extensive market research and tailored to Millennial consumers, has been one of the fastest-growing wine brands in New York and the U.S. The line launched just three years ago with four wines—Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a red blend—all priced at $10.99 and featuring smooth, fruit-forward profiles. The initial Epica wines proved so popular that the brand added a Malbec made from fruit grown in the Uco Valley sub-region of Mendoza, Argentina.
