Southwest Wines of France Hosts 1st Annual #VinoFries Competition

On June 3rd, the Wines of Southwest France kicked-off their 1st annual Southwest Gourmet French Fries Competition. Six NYC chefs created a unique gourmet French Fry dish to be paired with a selection of 40 wines—dry whites, rosés, red blends, 100% Malbec and sweet white wines all from the Southwest region of France.

The two chef winners: Chef Hugo Uys, Bröd Kitchen, for People’s Choice Award; and Chef Jawn Chasteen, Red Eye Grill, for Best French Fry & Wine Pairing
