To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Luce della Vite, the collaboration between the families of Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi, an auction was held at Christie’s on June 18th, auctioning off 20 rare wine lots, some dating back to the inaugural vintage. The auction was preceded by an eight-vintage vertical tasting of Luce. All of the auction proceeds were donated to the Baryshnikov Arts Center and the Cage Cunningham Campaign, and the total hammer amount was $57,000 before buyer’s commissions.
