Barolo producer Damilano recently unveiled their Cannubi “1752” Riserva; just 6,000 bottles were made in the inaugural 2008 vintage (SRP $275). Paolo Damilano was in NYC to launch the wine at Le Bernardin Privé on September 21st, along with Guido Damilano and Beppe Caviola of the estate, and the Italian writer Antonio Monda. Three vintages of Damilano Barolo Cannubi (2011, 2010, 2009) were served, capped by the unveiling of “1752” Riserva 2008.
