Bain’s Cape Mountain Whiskey: From South Africa to NYC

Master Distiller Andy Watts of the James Sedgwick Distillery presented Bain’s Cape Mountain Whisky, the first and only South African 100% single-grain, at Bo’s Kitchen & Bar Room.Watts discussed his unique double maturation aging process, then led attendees through a tasting, followed by a four-course meal and a series of specialty Bain’s cocktails.

Bo’s Kitchen & Bar Room staff prepared two cocktails: Bain’s Bubbly (Bain’s, lemon juice, cassis, demerara, Prosecco) and the Bain’s Classic (Bain’s, Aperol, housemade grenadine, Angostura bitters)
