Bacardi Limited has named
Andy J. Gibson
as Chief
Marketing Officer (CMO)
of Bacardi and President
of Bacardi Global Brands.
In these roles, Gibson will
be responsible for strategic
direction of Bacardi’s premium
spiritsbrands.Hewillalsoserve
as a member of the Bacardi
Leadership Team and report
to Bacardi Limited President
and CEO Ed Shirley. He will
join Bacardi in late April and
be based at the company’s
Global Brands headquarters in
London. Gibson has over 20
years experience in consumer
products marketing and sales.
BERENTZEN AG GROUP
The Berentzen AG Group,
which recently launched
U.S. operations, has ap-
pointed
Alain Barbet
to
the newly created position
of President and CEO. Bar-
bet spearheads development
of the Berentzen Spirits
portfolio in the U.S. with
a particular focus on the
flavored spirits category and
Berentzen Apple Liqueur.
Berentzen AG is based in
Haseluenne, Germany, and
its portfolio has interna-
tional brands like Berentzen
Liqueurs and Pushkin Vodka
among others. Most re-
cently Barbet was President
of Palm Bay Spirits, the
spirits division of Palm Bay
International.
SPI GROUP
SPIGroup, owner of Stolich-
naya, has appointed
John
Esposito
as President of its
U.S. operations following
the decision taken by SPI
to establish its own import-
ing company in the U.S. Es-
posito is an industry veteran
with over 20 years experi-
ence in key leadership posi-
tions in retail, distribution
and brand owner segments.
Most recently he was Presi-
dent and CEO of Bacardi
North America.

has appointed
Michele Ricci

upon his appointment.

Steve Einig
to the
new role of Chief Marketing
Officer. Prior to this appoint-
ment, Einig was at Energizer
Holdings as director of North
American lighting products.

Wolfschmidt, Calvert and
Temple House Triple Sec.

Paul Hobbs Imports has ap-
pointed
Serge Lozach
to the
role of General Manager. A
New York City native, Lo-
zach joined the Paul Hobbs
Imports team in 2010 and
previously served as Direc-
tor of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to that, he was Man-
aging Director at Sopexa
USA, promoting French
wines in the U.S. market.

Serrallés USA has appoint-
ed
John Eason
to the posi-
tion of COO, Executive
Vice President. Previously
Eason served the compa-
ny as VP, National Sales
Manager where he oversaw
double- digit growth of the
Don Q brand, the success-
ful launch of Caliche Rum
and a sales and market-
ing alliance with Death’s
Door Spirits. In his new
role, John is developing
the Serrallés USA brand
in North America, con-
tinuing to foster portfolio
expansion, including the
current launch of Casami-
gos Tequila.
