ica has appointed
BJ Vorderer
VP, Sales & Marketing-Pernod Ri-
card Portfolio, reporting to Kevin
Fennessey, SVP of Sales & Market-
ing at SWS. Fennessey said that
the move underscores Southern’s
ongoing efforts to align and coordi-
nate its marketing and sales strate-
gies with a key supplier like Pernod
Ricard across aligned Southern markets and sales channels. Vor-
derer is coordinating marketing and sales strategies across the 29
states. He has taken over for Marty Durkin, who was recently pro-
moted to VP, Marketing & Sales Planning for Southern’s Florida
division. Vorderer previously held many positions of escalating
responsibility at Pernod Ricard, most recently as Director of Off-
Premise National Trade Marketing.

has appointed
Tony M. Bagnulo
as VP, On-Premise Marketing.
Bagnulo leads all on-premise pro-
grams, management and training
of the on-premise specialist team
as well as analysis and monitoring
of the on-premise account uni-
verse for the SFIC portfolio. He
has a decade of experience; prior
to joining SFIC, Bagnulo was with Bacardi USA as Group Di-
rector, Client Services at Team Enterprises. He also worked
as Group Account Director at US Concepts,managing a net-
work of 40+ full-time category experts across multiple Diageo
brands in the U.S. He is based in the corporate office in New
Rochelle, NY and reports to Adam Rosen.
BinWise, Inc. has named
to the position of VP,
Sales. Martin is responsible for
BinWise’ entire sales operation.
Martin worked in restaurants for
over 10 years before being hired
as the first sales person at OpenT-
able, where he eventually became
Director of Sales. Directly prior to
joining BinWise, Martin helped
several startups launch go-to-market plans.
Effective July 1st,
2013, Georg J. Riedel
will hand over man-
agement of Riedel
Crystal and worldwide
subsidiaries to his son
Maximilian J. Riedel
the 11th generation of
the family to lead the
business. Georg Riedel
joined the company in
1973 and worked with leading wine industry members including
Robert Mondavi and Angelo Gaja to change fine wine drinking
culture. Maximilian Riedel says, “My vision is to strengthen the
core European market, to expand our China subsidiary and to
open new markets in Latin America within the next three years.”
Punzoné has appointed
as Managing Director.
Klauber was previously a senior ex-
ecutive at William Grant & Sons,
and brings decades of spirits industry
experience to Punzoné. At William
Grant & Sons, he was member of
the team responsible for growth and
development of brands including
Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Frangelico
and Hendrick’s Gin. Klauber is collaborating with founder and
CEO Frank Guerrera on business and organizational development
and financial management in the next phase of brand expansion.
Maritime Wine Trading Collective (MWTC) has appointed
to the position of Sales Director, Eastern U.S. His responsi-
bilities include management of the Maritime wholesaler network
from Maine to Georgia. Picard has 35 years of wine industry expe-
rience with expertise in wine buying and wholesaler management.
Mercy, the hangover-prevention beverage company, has ap-

senior executive and marketing positions with Coca-Cola,
Jim Beam and Campari America. In 2008, he founded and
launched Thatcher’s Organic Artisan Liqueur. The appoint-
ment comes on the heels of news regarding Mercy’s partner-
ships with New York distributor Phoenix/Beehive and Flori-
da’s Brown Distributing Company.
