Heaven Hill Distilleries has appointed
Carlos
Lozano
to lead the On-Premise National Ac-
counts Division. Lozano is responsible for stra-
tegically leading the On-Premise National Ac-
count Channel and reports to Steve Feller, VP
of North American Sales. With more than 20
years experience, his background includes man-
aging portfolios for Diageo North America and
Pernod Ricard USA.
ROYAL WINE CORP
Royal Wine Corporation has appointed
Douglas Simon
to the newly created posi-
tion of VP—National Sales Manager. In this role, he is responsible for wine and
spirit sales across the U.S. “Doug will manage our national team in sales, marketing,
strategic and distribution initiatives,” said David Herzog, President of Royal Wines.
He brings more than 20 years experience on both the distribution side and producer/
wholesaler side of the wine industry to his new role.

William Grant & Sons has promoted
Simon Hunt
to the new position of Chief
Commercial Officer. He is currently President, Managing Director, North America,
for WG&S and will assume the new role in August. Hunt has been with the com-
pany since 2007 after time spent at leading drinks companies including Diageo and
Pernod Ricard, and will relocate to the global headquarters of WG&S in the UK.
FRANK FAMILY VINEYARDS
Frank Family Vineyards has expanded its
sales team with the appointment of
Ken
Doyle
to the newly-created position of east-
ern regional manager. The role was created
to enhance the winery’s presence in the NY
Metro area and complement the role of VP of
National Sales, Scott Lloyd. Most recently,
Doyle served as a Manhattan sales rep for
Martin Scott Wines.
WINE INSTITUTE
Charles Jefferson
and
Linda Ulrich
are now Vice Presidents of Federal Relations
for the Wine Institute. Jefferson was most recently VP of BGR Government Rela-
tions in Washington D.C. Ulrich has served in the Senate and U.S. House, and
mostly recently was director of oversight for the Congressional Committee on
House Administration.
