GERARD BERTRAND PRESENTS
2011 VINTAGE IN NEW YORK
On April 10
th
, Gérard Bertrand and his team offered
a preview of selected estate wines of the Langued-
oc-Roussillon from the 2011 vintage, which he char-
acterized as the best-ever for the region. The seated
“magic” 20 tasting was followed by a food and wine
pairing luncheon at Le Bernardin.

BOURGOGNE TAKES NEW YORK
On April 18
th
, the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB)
organized an event that mimicked the “route of
Bourgogne” to promote wines from the five flagship
regions of Burgundy production. Groups of five ro-
tated through five selected restaurants (Loi, Sushi
Shop, Ai Fiori, The Breslin and Junoon) depicting
the respective areas of Burgundy and showcasing
the versatile pairing options for the wines.

HOLDS TASTING PREVIEW IN NEW YORK
On April 18
th
, Le Cercle Rive Droit held a tasting
of selections from the 2010 Bordeaux vintage and
2012
en primeur
wines at Millesime in the Carlton
Hotel. During the day press and trade enjoyed meet-
ing winery representatives and tasting; the evening
offered a consumer event with ticket proceeds do-
nated to Citymeals-on-Wheels.
