Recently, Southern Wine & Spirits of New York
awarded team members from the Spirits and Wine
Divisions with the 2012 Annual Achievement Awards
recognizing outstanding sales performance.

Jägermeister Goes Whole Hog
with BBQ
Jägermeister, the iconic shot brand, showed off its
culinary chops with some help from celebrity chef
and TV judge Chris Santos at his Beauty & Essex
restaurant in Manhattan. Santos will also be lead-
ing the brand’s “Charred, Earn your Place at the Pit”
BBQ Competition this summer—a search for the
best grill recipes incorporating Jägermeister.

SVEDKA UNCHAINS ITS WILD SIDE
Svedka went over the top on May 21
st
with a “Social
Mixology: Unchained” event at Hotel Chantelle on the
Lower East Side. Mixologists showcased progressive
techniques and “concepts” in cocktails using Svedka
original and flavored vodkas.

Don Lee (CocktailKingdom.com) created a punch that was also
served as a vaporized cocktail entitled “Just Breathe”
2.
Zhara Bates (Cole’s Red Car Bar in LA) made a multi-course
“Gobstopper” plate of four tiny vodka-infused edibles and potables
3.
Dave Arnold (Booker & Dax in NYC) used liquid nitrogen to flash-
freeze basil, which was then muddled into his “Hit the Herbs”
4.
For “Pupu 2 You,” Todd Thrasher (Bar TNT in Alexandria, VA)
combined Svedka with homemade duck sauce soda and topped it
with a spring roll.
