HAS A NEW LOOK
The award-winning Napa Ridge portfolio has
a new label design to catch consumers’ eyes.
Featured prominently on the 2012 Napa Ridge
Chardonnay, the label update showcases a
scene of Napa Ridge’s rolling vineyards and
in a monochromatic shade that feels fresh and
modern. The wine inside is crisp and fruity,
pairing well with shrimp scampi or grilled veggies.
RYE IS LATEST FROM LI SPIRITS
Long Island Spirit's latest release is Rough
Rider Bull Moose Three Barrel Rye, which
takes inspiration from Long Island native
Teddy Roosevelt’s cavalry outfit, the Rough
Riders. The Rye starts maturing in New
American Oak, before time in oak that just
held Straight Bourbon and finishing in casks
that held Pine Barrens Single Malt Whiskey.

FLEGENHEIMER RESERVE RED 2010
In homage to his family’s pre-Prohibition
wine business—Flegenheimer Brothers Wine
Merchants—Epicurean Wines founder Benjamin
Hammerschlag has introduced Flegenheimer
Reserve Red 2010. The wine is a blend of
60% Shiraz and 40% Petite Sirah, sourced
from high-altitude vineyards in Australia’s
McLaren Vale. The label is a reproduction of
an actual Flegenheimer Brothers Trade card
that dates to 1890.
Velvet Crush has introduced the new 2011
Crush Master’s Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011
Crush Master’s Red Blend and the 2012
Crush Master’s Pinot Noir. Velvety smooth
wines with rich texture, Velvet Crush is a line
offering indulgence that’s both attainable and
approachable. The wines hail from the Central
Coast of California and provide a lush profile
that’s the perfect step up for the Millennial
DEVOUR LIFE WITH CARNIVOR
The latest from E.& J. Gallo is Carnivor California
Cabernet Sauvignon 2011. Made using grapes
from select Lodi vineyards, the wine was
blended with some Petite Sirah for deep color
and structure and Merlot for some finesse while
maintaining the structure and character of the
Cabernet. This big wine offers notes of espresso,
chocolate and dark fruit with toasted oak.
