Anheuser-Busch is using social media and tech to help allocate funds to the
Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides scholarships to families of soldiers
wounded or killed in service. Through July 4

free smartphone app Blippar (available for Apple and Droid devices), open it and
‘blipp the bowtie’ by aiming the smart phone camera at the bowtie logo found
on all
Budweiser
packaging,
and triggering the interactive
experience to pick a U.S. state
to help determine where some
of the funds may be directed.

DEWAR’S ‘3-B’
PRINTING PROJECT
Dewar’s is showcasing its latest innovation,
Highlander Honey
with the 3-B Printing Project.
That’s not a typo. The 3-B Printing Project is a twist
on 3-D printing, utilizing 80,000 bees to make
honeycomb in designs inspired by Dewar’s Highlander
Honey. Fans and bee enthusiasts can visit facebook.
com/dewars to see a series of “Live in the Hive” videos
showing the honeycomb structures being created. The
bees’ natural instinct toward crafting honeycomb is
akin to the craftsmanship that has gone into Dewar’s
Highlander Honey, made with local Scottish honey.

for iPhone, iPad and Droid. While it’s handy for members of the wine trade, it’s
also an app meant to be fun for wine novices. The website offers an easy video
walkthrough for navigating the app that showcases diversity of textures and
dimensions. A wide variety of regions, countries and wineries are featured with
3-D images and color-coding of regions. The full version is $9.99 on itunes and
at the Google Play store, but itunes also offers VinGraph Lite for free.
