Though kosher wines and spirits are available all year
long, some of the biggest demand is during fall’s High
Holiday season. So we’ve rounded up some selections to
help kick off 5774.
A note on kosher wines: Kosher wines are always
identified as such on their label. Though the process
for kosher wines is very similar to non-Kosher wines,
additional rules are followed and wines are made under
Rabbinical supervision. Certified Kosher wines are meant
to be opened and served by observant Jews, while wines
labeled “mevushal” are treated so that anyone may open
them (a good choice for restaurants and catering venues).
The cool climate of the
Willamette Valley gives
Pinot Noir high acid, and the
contribution of grapes from
the warmer Hood River Valley
add structure and length. The
wine has mineral and earthy
tones and pairs well with
light meats or cheese dishes.
Made in Clarksburg, CA,

of black fruits and on the nose,
chocolate and mint.
