CZECH WINES SHOWCASED IN NEW YORK
This past spring, more than 16 wineries from the
Czech Republic participated in a tasting event in
New York City to showcase the country’s wines for
U.S. consumers. This event featured perhaps the
largest collection of Moravian wine ever poured in
the U.S.—Moravia produces more than 96% of wine
in the Czech Republic. The event was supported by
the Czech viticulture fund and the Consul General of
the Czech Republic in New York.

HOST LAUNCH PARTY FOR SAVED WINES
On August 7
th
, Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Scott
Campbell and his wife, the actress Lake Bell,
launched Saved Wines at The Jane Hotel. Campbell
developed the wines as an extension of his work in
tattooing and art and was joined by winemaker Clay
Brock. Guests enjoyed bites from The Smile and
sipping Saved Magic Maker Rosé.

Oak Beverages recently hosted its 2

Annual Em-
ployee Appreciation Night at Boulder Stadium in
Pomona, NY. Open to all Oak employees and their
guests, the event featured all-American fare accom-
panied by ice cold beers provided by some Oak
breweries and wineries including Pabst, Warsteiner,
Guinness and San Osvaldo/Rocca Rossa.
