NYC OKTOBERFEST
On October 4
th
,
representatives from Sidney Frank
and Southern Wine & Spirits gathered to show off
a billboard celebrating Jägermeister’s sponsor-
ship of the first annual 16-day NYC Oktoberfest,
held at Penn Plaza. The team also enjoyed the
tented event that day which featured communal
picnic tables, leiderhosen-clad staff and tradition-
al German fare. Attendees enjoyed a “Shot and
a Brat” deal for a shot of Jäger and a bratwurst,
while Jägerettes were on hand to serve ice-cold
Jäger out of Shot-Skis, which allow for placement
of four shots for four people.

WILD TURKEY AND ANDERSON BREWING
CELEBRATE JOINT VENTURE
In October, Wild Turkey and Anderson Valley Brew-
ing’s joint-venture had a “First Pour” at NYC’s Beer
Authority. Wild Turkey Master Distillers Jimmy and
Eddie Russell and Anderson Valley Brewing’s CEO
Trey White and Master Brewer Fal Allen kicked off
the festivities with an overview of the partnership,
before guests partook in tasting the Stout and cus-
tom beertails like Cup of Whoa and Dark & Turkey.
